The next generation Suzuki Swift was spied in Germany being driven in rain .The spy photos were published in the worldcarfans.com website. Though there was camouflaging done, we can clearly notice the shape of the tail lamps and the Kizashi inspired grill can be made out clearly.
Suzuki Swift is sold in various countries with many engine options including a 1.6 litre with 125bhp and torque of 148nm. There are also 4 wheel drive variants sold in Japan. If Suzuki can bring in the new Swift with a 1.6 litre engine and a four wheel drive, it can be positioned in the small/compact SUV segment.
The car is expected to hit the roads by mid 2010 and a full production hybrid is also on the cards.
